An open call needs someone to listen all evening. It drains both batteries, keeps one listener tied to the call, sends no alert when your baby stirs, and stays silent if the connection drops.
Hotel Wi-Fi happens
Naby shows whether both phones are connected. It warns you when the connection drops and reconnects when the network returns. With no usable Wi-Fi or cellular connection, the phones cannot connect.
At the table
Your lock-screen status view shows the connection. Naby alerts you when your baby stirs. Tap to listen, then put the phone down again. Live Activity on iPhone; Android equivalent in the works.

What if the hotel Wi-Fi has a login page?
Complete the hotel login on both phones before you start. Then check that Naby shows both phones as connected.
Can the phones use different networks?
They need a usable network path. One phone may use Wi-Fi and the other cellular service when the connection supports it.
Can grandparents listen from home?
Naby supports multiple listeners. Every listener is free. Only the baby phone needs the purchase.
What does it cost while abroad?
Naby is the same app abroad. €15 once. Every trip after that is free. Your mobile provider may still charge for roaming data.
Does Naby replace medical monitoring?
No. Naby is an audio baby monitor. It is not a medical device.
