Which one fits the night

Naby

For a hotel dinner or an occasional night away.

No account and no recurring payment. The Parent Unit shows the connection and sleeping status, then lets you listen when your baby stirs.

WhatsApp

For an improvised call using apps already installed.

It carries a live call, but it does not add dedicated stir detection, sound history, a baby-device battery warning or a baby-monitor status screen.

WhatsApp Help Centre

Tuck

For two recent iPhones and a fuller feature set.

Tuck includes video, cry alerts, sleep summaries and lullabies. The primary account requires a subscription after the 14-day trial.

Luna

For two iOS devices running in the background.

What Naby chooses not to add

Naby is not trying to be a nursery camera, sleep diary or lullaby library. It is for the hotel-night moment: leave one phone near the cot, keep the other with you, and listen when the alert appears.

Before you choose

Is Naby cheaper than the other baby monitor apps?

Naby costs €15 once. Tuck, Bibino and Saby advertise recurring plans. Luna is free to download with a premium purchase. WhatsApp is free, but it is a call rather than a dedicated baby monitor.

Does every app support Android and iPhone?

No. Bibino and Saby advertise both major mobile platforms. Tuck and Luna are iPhone or iOS focused. Check current store availability before choosing.

Which app works without an account?

Naby does not require an account. WhatsApp requires phone-number registration. Bibino exposes account and login flows. Saby says it can be used without entering personal data.

Which app works without internet?

Connection behaviour differs. Luna requires internet. WhatsApp calls use internet. Tuck advertises a limited Bluetooth offline mode between compatible iPhones. Check Naby’s current connection guidance in the app before relying on a hotel setup.

Are these prices exact for Belgium?

Not always. Competitor stores show different currencies, regions and offers. These prices were checked in July 2026 and should be confirmed in your local app store.
